
Ir. Dr. Datuk Ahmad Zaidee Laidin, PJN, DPMP, KMN, FASc, D.Univ(Stirling), Hon.D.Tech(Brookes), Hon.Prof(Napier), Hon.D.Litt(Manchester Metropolitan), MSc.TechEc, FIEM, MIEE, MMS, ASEANENG, PEng, MACEM, is an electrical engineer with over 35 years of experience. He has worked in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and then with Universiti Teknologi MARA where he was Director and Vice Chancellor up to his retirement from public service in 2001. His experience includes construction, installation and maintenance of several major electrical power installations, transmission and distribution systems; management including development of research and development projects under TNB.
Ir. A. Sekarajasekaran, KMN, DIC, FIEM, MICE, MASCE, MIWES, PEng, CEng, MACEM, possesses over forty-five years of experience, primarily in environmental engineering. He served in the Public Works Department (JKR) and the Ministry of Health where he retired as the Director of Engineering Services in 1983. As a pioneer in the field, he was directly responsible for the establishment and implementation of various programmes including the National Drinking Water Quality Surveillance Programme, Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation; Master Plans for Sewerage and Drainage for most major towns in Malaysia; Hospital Planning and Maintenance and Radiation Protection Monitoring and Licensing. He was also instrumental in the drafting of the Amendment to the "Waters" Enactment Act 1946, the Environmental Quality Act 1974, the Drainage, Sanitation and Sanitary Plumbing By-laws 1978 and the Amendment to the Radioactive Substances Act 1968.
Ir. Mohd. Fauzi Suleiman, BSc(Civil), MIEM, PEng, MACEM, began his career in the Ministry of Health in 1982. His experience include appraisal of several Master Plans for Sewerage and Drainage, sewerage proposals for development schemes, implementation of the National Drinking Water Quality Surveillance programme and the design of hospital wastewater treatment facilities. Since leaving public service in 1988, his experience include the design, planning and coordination of infrastructure projects covering water supply, sewerage, solid waste and drainage systems as well as in the conduct of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
Ir. Dr. Dhileepan Nair, BE(Civil), MSc, PhD(Env Eng), MIEM, MASCE, MWEF, PEng, MACEM, has over twenty years of experience in the design and supervision of wastewater engineering and related environmental engineering projects. Key experience include his roles in managing the overall design and supervision teams for recent major municipal sewerage projects in Kuala Lumpur, Klang and Kangar under the National Sewage Treatment Plant Project funded by JBIC as well as Port Dickson and Jelutong Pumping Stations under Indah Water Konsortium (IWK).
Ir. Din Mohd Khafa, Associate, BSc(Civil), MIEM, PEng, is a civil engineer of about fifteen years of experience. His experience in water supply include the water treatment works and associated distribution system for the Merbau Chondong water supply project, Kelantan, water supply schemes for major developments including Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), Subang Jaya, Lestari Perdana and Bukit Subang townships. Wastewater engineering experience include the design of several municipal wastewater engineering projects at Petaling Jaya and Kangar.
